Native Solana runtime syscalls (sol_alt_bn128_group_op, sol_alt_bn128_compression, sol_pairing) that perform elliptic curve operations over the BN254 curve at near-native speed. These syscalls enable efficient on-chain verification of Groth16 proofs within transaction compute limits — without them, pairing-based verification in BPF would exceed compute budgets. Light Protocol, ZK Compression, and the Confidential Transfer extension all depend on these syscalls.
