SNARK (Succinct Non-interactive Argument of Knowledge)

ZK Compression · Abyss

Succinct Non-interactive ARgument of Knowledge — a class of zero-knowledge proof where a prover convinces a verifier of a statement's truth without revealing the witness, with proofs that are small (succinct) and require no back-and-forth (non-interactive). On Solana, SNARKs are the cryptographic core of ZK Compression and Confidential Transfers, verified on-chain via native elliptic curve syscalls. Most deployed Solana SNARKs use Groth16 due to its minimal verification cost.
