Forester

ZK Compression · Bottom

An off-chain service in Light Protocol that performs maintenance on compressed state trees: processing nullifier queues, registering new addresses, and managing epoch-based tree rollovers. Forester nodes are permissionless — anyone can run one and earn protocol-distributed fees for completed work. If Forester processing lags behind transaction volume, nullifier queues may temporarily fill, causing compressed transactions to fail until space is freed.
