Backpack Exchange's EU regulatory milestone, obtaining a MiFID II license through its acquisition of FTX EU in 2024. This made Backpack one of the few crypto-native exchanges with European regulated securities trading capabilities, enabling it to offer tokenized securities and regulated crypto products to EU customers alongside its Solana-focused spot and perpetual markets.
